Essential Files
Here you can download files and programs that you need to get your work done. I have included and explanation of each. You will need to "Right Click" the links below and do a "save link as" in order to download each:
- Roland M480 Offline Editor ~ download and install this program to your PC laptop. It will allow you to create and edit Roland M480 files which you can then transfer to a thumb drive and import into the actual mixer If you need a MAC version, contact me.
- Roland M480 File ~ This a my setup file for the show Elf. Download and import it into your offline PC Editor to give you a place to start programming.
- Roland M480 Download Site ~ Roland's website for the M480
- MagicQ Software ~ Chamsys MagicQ PC software. I included this in case you want to put it on another computer. This can be installed on any PC. If this doesn't work (it may be PC specific) or you need the MAC version, go to Chamsys and get it.
- MagicQ Show File ~ This is a template file. Download and open on your MagicQ PC to get started. Remember to "save as" so that you always have this template file as a starting point for your new show.

- MagcQ Keyboard Shortcuts ~ keyboard shortcuts you can use while programming
- Chamsys MagicQ Download Site ~ here you can get Chamsys MagicQ Downloads
- Stage Plot PDF ~ PDF copy of the lighting rig for the main stage at WAMS
- Black Box Plot PDF ~ PDF copy of the Black Box Lighting Rig at WAMSl
- Cafetorium Plot PDF ~ PDF copy of the Cafetorium lighting rig at WAMS
- LXFree for Java ~ This is the light plot program I use to create, edit and print lighting plots. You need java installed on your computer in order to use it.
- Stage Plot ~ open this file using the LXFree program above to edit the stage light plot I created
- Black Box Plot ~ open this file using the LXFree program above to edit the black box light plot I created
- Cafetorium Plot ~ open this file using the LXFree program above to edit the cafetorium light plot I created
